- border peaks between Lake Geneva
and Chamonix
This is a trip of contrasts along the Franco-Swiss peaks between
Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. There are isolated
and remote summits, and the accessible Portes de Soleil lift system.
There are
many alternatives, and flexibility is the key to getting the most enjoyable
ascents and best snow for the week. The general itinerary is to ski one of
the peaks at the north end of the chain, ski throught the Portes de
Soleil lift system, and traverse some of the peaks at the south end of
the chain.
This tour is an
excellent option for those new to high level routes, and also for
experienced skiers seeking good off-piste and touring conditions in the
early part of the season.
The trip duration is 7 days
including arrival and departure. There are 5 days of guided skiing
(there
is also an option for an extra day skiing for those who would like to
start with a warm up day).

View towards Mont Blanc, the Dents du
Midi and the Portes de Soleil
