Leysin

There is a good range of accommodation available in Leysin.  We tend to use the smaller hotels where there is always a friendly welcome and personal service.  Many of our groups have stayed at Les Orchidées, where Brigitte and Eddy Givel understand about skiing, as they are both ski instructors.

Away from Leysin

When a trip takes us away from Leysin and we spend nights in the valley we use typical simple mountain village hotels.

In the mountains

Many of the trip programmes include nights in mountain huts.  Some huts are large and busy (e.g. on the high level route from Chamonix to Zermatt) while others may be more simple and quiet (e.g. on the 'Wild' high level route).  During the popular touring season the huts provide a restaurant service, but sometimes we use huts when they are 'ungaurded'.  Whether quiet or crowded every hut has its own special characteristics and allows us to enjoy the best of the high mountains.
